Match Report
Langley Park School for Boys Boys-U12B vs  Wallington County Grammar School
On: Friday, 06 Oct 2017
Venue: at Home

The boys were excited to play their second game in as many weeks at home on the main pitch. A lot was said before the game about running direct and powerfully and ensuring that our good form continues. Langley started the better of the two sides and some direct play led to the first try of the game by Adam Frini. Langley asserted their dominance throughout the first half with good tries from Tyler McKenzie, Louie Day, another from Adam Frini, Anthony Wrigley(2), Freddie Fletcher, and Charlie Notman. Langley were the better side with all the territory and ended the half leading by a dominant 40 points. The score was good, but the performance could have been better, with expansive rugby instead of narrow, selfish play being the main focus of the half time team talk.

The second half was more of the same with further tries from Charlie Notman, Tyler McKenzie and two for man of the match Stuart Wiehahn. A much better display of rugby was put on show in the second half with some of the best passages of play of the season thus far. The final score was 60-0 and this will serve as a good confidence boost moving forward with tougher tests to come.
