Langley Boys help Bromley Hockey to LYG Victory

Bromley Borough was well represented by 5 Langley Park Boys, at the London Youth Games (LYG). Joe Furzer, Liam O'Leary, Fionn Sparrow, Elliot Dodds and Harrison King all played a part in Bromley securing the Gold Medal, after a Bronze from 2017.

Round 1 Bromley started group C against Ealing (W 3 - 0); Kingston (W 4 - 0); Havering (W7 - 0) and Harrow (D 2 - 2)
Finishing on 10 pts., 3 wins and a Draw. Scoring 16 goals and conceding 2.

Round 2 Bromley faced Wandsworth (W 4 - 0); Hillingdon (W 3 - 0) and Lewisham (W 1 - 0)
Finishing on 9 pts., 3 wins, 8 goals and 0 conceded.

Bromley came up against Southwark in the Semi Final 1 defeating them 2 - 0 and advanced to the Final against Lewisham. Bromley played a hard fought game and came out 1 - 0 winners.

Congratulations to those Langley Boys on finishing a very good hockey season with the School, Club and now Borough.
